The Kit
Wing ribs stacked and ready for
drilling.
Once the ribs were drilled with two
1/4" holes, they were lined up on the
jig.
Once everything was spaced
properly, the spars and
leading/trailing edges were glued in
place.
The right wing panel off the jig.
Once both wing halves were built up,
they were joined.

I used the kitchen counter for it's
long flat surface, and clamped the
leading edge to a straight piece of
wood to ensure that the wing is true.
The wing halves joined.
Home brew servo tray.

The original design called for one
servo mounted in the center of the
wing with linkages for each aileron.
This design provides a more positive
control for the servos, and allows for
flaperon mixing.
24" extentions in place.

I chose to route these prior to
sheeting the center section.
Ready for glass.
All glassed in.
Ready for final sanding and covering.
Completed fuselage.
Motor mount.

I had to make some modifications to
this area, but it is improved over the
original design by adding fiber cloth
and epoxy.
Trying out the Futaba radio tray that
came with the flight pack.  Haven't
used on of these before, but it looks
pretty good and will save some
assembly time.
Motor and fuel tank mounted.
Wing in the saddle.

Radio gear and covering next.
Radio tray and servos installed.
Completed fuselage.

Antenna needs to be routed
Another shot of the fuse.
Radio gear tucked away.
